Membership fees are our main source of income, along with donations. However, to avoid creating artificial barriers, membership fees are kept low (per year: €10 for individuals, €100 for companies).
Similarly, admission to our exhibitions and other events is always free. Each visitor contributes according to his or her means and/or joins the association if he or she so wishes.
Nevertheless, the organization of these events has a cost. Many volunteer hours are devoted by our members to their conception, preparation and staging, not to mention the inevitable direct costs of each event.
We also aim to make an effective contribution to the preservation and restoration of two major historic buildings in Gatteville-le-Phare: Saint-Pierre church and the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours chapel. This project, which involves buildings and objects listed as historic monuments, will require much greater financial resources in the coming years than our other initiatives.

The Gatteville Héritages association has a predominantly cultural purpose, which qualifies it as an organization of general interest and eligible for the patronage scheme provided for in article 200 and article 238bis of the French General Tax Code.
Under the conditions laid down in these articles, -and of course if you pay income tax in France!– your donation may therefore be eligible for a tax deduction of 66% for individuals or 60% for companies.
So don’t forget to give us your contact details so that we can send you a tax receipt at the beginning of the following calendar year.
