Nearly 700 visitors came to the former Gatteville town hall for this much-appreciated exhibition.

The diversity of the themes covered, the large number of documents and objects on display, the first-hand accounts from Gatteville residents, and the translation of the panels into English and German were all highlighted as very positive by many people.

The wide-ranging exchanges and comments received clearly showed that this period, which has recently become part of our history, still has a strong emotional resonance among our contemporaries.

A convincing plea for world peace!
