In front of an audience of around sixty people, Thierry Louise presented the results of his documentary research into this shipwreck, which, in terms of the number of victims, was one of the greatest civilian maritime disasters on the Cotentin coast. There were many questions from the audience, as certain points raised questions: very few victims were formally identified, the press of the time was surprisingly discreet about the event, and the boat was in difficulty, probably as a result of damage since leaving Le Havre. The mysteries have not been completely dispelled.
