Read on! Here’s the recipe for a successful evening:

• 83 guests in the multi-purpose hall at Gatteville-le-Phare
• A table laid out in a U-shape so that the ball could be opened after the meal without changing the layout of the room
• An excellent meal prepared by a local caterer: the butcher Frougier from Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue
• A team of dynamic, well-organised volunteers

The result was an excellent festive evening to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Gatteville!
