8 August 2026 – Guided walk: ‘The Treasures of Gatteville’

Boris Bonnin, chairman of Gatteville Héritages, led another guided walk on 8 August 2026.

This walking tour set off at 6 pm from Place Notre-Dame in Gatteville, where participants were able to admire Saint-Pierre Church, the Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel and the superb houses lining the square, continued through the former German Second World War battery, then along Roubary harbour and the shoreline, ending at the foot of the lighthouse.

The walk concluded with a return journey through the back-littoral marshes back to Place Notre-Dame at around 8 pm, covering a distance of approximately 5 km.
